2. What The Key is
The Key is a digital membership (a digital pass) that gives the member access to benefits offered by participating partner businesses in Medellín, such as restaurants, bars, spas and experiences. The Key is not a payment method, a gift card, a voucher for a specific product, or an insurance or financial product.
The goods and services associated with each benefit are provided directly by the participating business, not by Keys To Colombia SAS.
3. Trip Key
The Trip Key is currently the only membership available for purchase.
- Base price: USD $49.99, one single payment. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no minimum commitment.
- Payment is processed in Colombian pesos (COP), converted from the USD base price using the authoritative exchange rate applicable to that checkout.
- The exchange rate and the exact COP amount are shown before payment. The COP amount shown in checkout is the amount charged.
- The Trip Key activates automatically upon your first confirmed redemption at a participating business.
- The Trip Key must be activated within 90 days of purchase. The applicable activation deadline is shown in your member account.
- Once activated, the Trip Key remains valid for 7 consecutive days.
- During the active period you may obtain a maximum of 2 confirmed redemptions per participating business.
4. Benefits and participating businesses
- Benefits vary by participating business and are described in the member directory.
- Each business may set specific conditions for its benefit (for example a reservation requirement, a minimum consumption or excluded dates). Those conditions are shown with the benefit in the directory and apply to the redemption.
- Benefits are subject to the availability and operating hours of the business.
- The list of participating businesses and their benefits may change over time; businesses may join or withdraw. We make reasonable efforts to keep the directory current and to maintain a comparable overall benefit offering during your active period.
- If a specific benefit becomes unavailable, contact our support channels so we can assist you.
5. Personal use of your Key
The Key is personal to the member account that purchased it. The following are not permitted:
- resale of the Key or of its benefits;
- unauthorised transfer of the Key to another person;
- sharing redemption codes (QR) in order to evade membership or benefit-limit rules;
- fraudulent use or impersonation;
- manipulating, automating or interfering with the redemption or validation systems.
6. Redemption and validation
To use a benefit, you generate a single-use code in the app and the staff of the participating business validates it through the platform. Staff see only what is necessary to validate the benefit.
Confirmed redemptions are recorded and are used to activate the Key on first redemption and to enforce the benefit limit of 2 confirmed redemptions per participating business during the active period.
7. Suspension and restriction
We may suspend or restrict a Key in cases of fraud, abuse, unauthorised transfer or resale, or a material breach of these Terms. Where circumstances reasonably allow, we will inform the member and give an opportunity to explain or correct the situation.
8. Third-party businesses
Participating businesses are independent third parties. They deliver their own goods and services under their own operational conditions and are responsible for the quality, safety and lawfulness of what they provide. Keys To Colombia SAS is responsible for the membership service it sells: providing the Key, the directory information, the redemption system and customer support.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Colombian consumer law.
9. Cancellation and refunds
The applicable cancellation, retraction and refund conditions are described in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, including the purposes of processing and how you may exercise your rights.
11. Future memberships
Additional memberships may be offered in the future. They may have their own specific terms, which will be presented before purchase. Only the Trip Key is available today.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version applicable to your purchase is the version published at the moment you completed your purchase, and it is recorded with your checkout. Updated versions are published on this page with a new version identifier and date.
13. Governing law and support
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Our principal place of operation is Medellín, Antioquia.
